Closing Spaces

This patient has a space between her upper front teeth, which she would like to have corrected with bonding. She has also expressed an interest in making all her teeth a lighter shade through "at-home whitening." At her consultation, we showed these pictures of another patient with a similar condition and the results that were achieved after two weeks of "at-home whitening" and one appointment in our office, utilizing tooth-colored bonding.

Advanced polymer-resin materials and techniques allow dentists to close spaces between teeth and change the shape of teeth. While this type of restoration is not as permanent as porcelain crowns or veneers, it offers the patient the benefit of an enhanced smile for an extended period of time.
